SUPPORTING THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM CHEMICAL & SURGICAL MUTILATION

Silent Majority Foundation has joined Alabama in filing an amicus brief to support Executive Order 14,187, which aims to prohibit pediatric chemical and surgical gender-transition procedures. This comes after Washington, Oregon, and Minnesota sued to challenge the order, citing WPATH’s Standards of Care (SOC-8) as evidence supporting gender-affirming care. Alabama's prior litigation in 2022, defending a law banning pediatric sex-change procedures, uncovered troubling findings about SOC-8. Documents revealed SOC-8 lacked scientific evidence, was politically influenced, and was framed as a legal tool rather than a scientific guideline. These revelations form the basis of Alabama’s argument in the brief. SMF is committed to protecting the lives and well-being of children across the nation. We need your help to continue this critical work!
